Extensions on older houses
A lot of Liverpool's housing is Victorian, Edwardian or 1930s. Dig for an extension on a house that age and you often find old clay drains, cracked or full of roots, right where the new footings need to go.
We sort the drains out while the trench is open, so you are not digging the garden up twice. If the drain has to be built over, we tell you early, because the water company usually needs to agree it first.
Heritage streets
Around Sefton Park, Mossley Hill and Woolton there are stone flags, granite kerbs and old boundary walls worth keeping. We work round them and match what is there, rather than ripping out the lot and starting again.

320 m³ dug out for an eight plot development, concrete poured to the engineer's drawing, and blockwork brought up to DPC, ready for the bricklayers to start.
